When Algorithms Step Over Bodies – The Wall of Silence on X
A Farewell in Silence On January 6, 2026, we buried my friend. She was systematically driven to her death by a scammer on X (formerly Twitter) posing as Elon Musk. There is a suicide note. There is evidence. But for the platform where this crime began, she doesn't even exist.
The Last Attempt: Confronting the AI My friend Rene made one final attempt to confront X with the truth. He spoke to Grok, the platform's AI. The responses are a slap in the face to every victim:
No Seal, No Truth: Grok claims it cannot find "verified reports" (e.g., from Reuters) about the death and therefore cannot acknowledge it as a fact.
Systemic Throttling: The AI openly admits that scam warnings and external links for clarification are reduced in reach by 30-50% by the algorithm.
Engagement Over Human Life: Grok coldly explains that the algorithm is based on interactions (likes/shares), not on suppressing content—while simultaneously admitting that warnings are actively "penalized."
The Reality Behind the "Blue Checkmark" While scammers use paid verifications ("Blue Checkmarks") to fake trust, real warnings from those affected are classified as "untrustworthy" because they don't appear in mainstream news agencies.
X celebrates itself as a bastion of "Free Speech," but the truth is: when the truth becomes inconvenient or threatens the profit from scammer bots, it is throttled, ignored, and ultimately censored.
We Will No Longer Be Silent We buried my friend in silence, but we will not be quiet. These 266 chat logs are not "unverified data"—they are the records of an organized crime that X allows to happen.
