Thank You X – Finally, @ElonX800 Is Gone

A small victory on the dark side of X.

After two days of intense reporting – loud posts, screenshots, tags to @Safety, @elonmusk, @lindayaX and others – the persistent fake account @ElonX800 has been suspended.

This account followed the classic pattern:

  • "Elon X" display name
  • "main private account. Just inspired." bio
  • SpaceX banner
  • Generic scam comments ("I enjoy what you share... we're not friends yet") to lure users into DMs

Public Grok initially couldn't "find" the account (despite clear evidence), leading to frustrating back-and-forth. Reports were sent repeatedly.

Then, late last night (while I was already asleep), it happened: the account was finally suspended.

Thank you, X team. Better late than never. This removal protects users from further scams and potential harm.

It shows that persistent, loud reporting can work – even if it takes time and effort.

Stay vigilant, report fakes, and keep pushing. Sometimes the system listens.
