Grimm's Fairy Tales for X – Hänsel und Gretel Edition

Welcome to the dark side of X, where the stories are not from the Brothers Grimm – but feel exactly like them.

Take Hänsel and Gretel: Two children lost in the woods, lured by a beautiful gingerbread house full of sweets. They think they've found safety. But inside waits the witch – ready to fatten them up and throw them into the oven.

Now look at X in 2026: The "gingerbread house" is the platform itself – shiny, full of promises, blue checkmarks glittering like candy. The #Premium users with their blue hooks live in the sweet part: seen, boosted, protected.

The free users? We are Hänsel and Gretel. Lured in with "free speech" and "everyone is welcome".

But when the algorithm decides, when the fakes swarm, when the reports vanish – we end up at the oven door. Ignored. Down-ranked. Treated as second-class.

Is it not exactly like the fairy tale?

The children end up in the sugar house of #PremiumBlueChecks – while the oven is reserved for the free ones.
