The Real Victims of

I honestly can’t wrap my head around it!!

There ARE victims!
Victims of scams on Telegram, WhatsApp, and X.
Yet the DSA only wants to take money from X??

How about going after the real scammers for once? Take the money from the fake accounts, from WhatsApp and Telegram — and give it to the actual victims?

Should I publish how my phone number was abused and I got harassed by dozens of fake “Elon Musks”?
Should I publish how random guys from Nigeria messaged me on WhatsApp asking if I wanted to be their Sugar Mommy?
Should I?

The real victims are the people — the users — who lost money, sometimes huge amounts of money!
Not the DSA!!

Should I show more than just the last WhatsApp message from one of those fakes — the one that made me change my phone number in panic?

Should I??

All the DSA seems to care about is squeezing money out of Mr. Elon Musk!
None of it will ever reach the real victims!

So the people who already got robbed by scammers from Nigeria, Indonesia, and all those countries with scam farms are supposed to file expensive civil lawsuits that lead nowhere? And then pay for therapy on top?
That’s what the DSA is for?
And the money they take from Elon Musk just disappears into some bureaucratic black hole, while the real victims get nothing?
As long as the authorities get even fatter budgets and the victims of Telegram, WhatsApp and X get zero?

Is that seriously the point of the DSA?

Sorry guys — if that’s the case, the DSA is useless and will never get a single one of the original chat logs that me and my girlfriends received from fake Elons.
And I still don’t understand why Elon Musk has to pay at all!
He is a victim too!
His name has been abused by thousands of fakes — and for that he now has to pay?
While the bosses of the scam farms are laughing their asses off?

Let’s break it down:

Elon Musk is supposed to pay for:

  1. €45 million because of the “misleading” blue checkmarks. The EU complains that anyone can buy them for $8/month without real identity verification — supposedly helping scams.
My question: Wouldn’t that money be much better spent on real verification tools and fighting actual scam farms??

  2. €35 million for lack of transparency in the ad database.
My question: Lack of transparency about what exactly? All I ever see is garbage Temu ads, ridiculous Bitcoin scams, and cat food ads. Yes, I’m a cat mom — so what??

  3. €40 million for blocking “researchers” from public data access.
My question: Which researchers? From where? To me that sounds shady, not safe.

No. I stand with Elon Musk!
