The madness continues – new fake wave on X (happened today!)

This madness just keeps going?
Do we EU citizens now have to say “thank you” for zero protection from scams?

Today (December 29, 2025) I’m chatting with Grok on X – and suddenly two fake Elon accounts misuse my replies for their crypto garbage.See for yourselves:
Fake 1: Old account (since 2014), Elon picture, Austin TX, retweets my post and baits with wallet address + Telegram link.

Fake 2: Old account (since 2018), Elon picture, retweets the same and spams crypto bio.

I immediately deleted my original posts – too creepy to be linked to such profiles. But does this have to happen?
Does the EU have to gag X with its thick catalog of laws (DSA, GDPR) so that effective moderation is made harder?

Does it have to be that EU citizens cannot upload proof (screenshots) when reporting – unlike US users? With what goal, please?
The fakes retweet harmless posts to steal visibility and lure people to Telegram. This is an organized new wave – and X just watches.
I don’t see the blame only with X!  X would love to clean up – but EU rules make it harder.
Instead, the DSA collects 120 million euros in fines from X – and helps the real victims? Nothing!

WhatsApp and Telegram (where the actual damage often happens) pay no fines – only X?
My questions:
  • Where is the justice?
  • Why does the EU claim to protect our data, but doesn’t protect us from scams? (My example: My second phone number was cracked on December 10, 2025 via WhatsApp/Telegram – now I need the third.)
  • Why are EU citizens disadvantaged?
  • Are we not worth it to the DSA?
  • Why doesn’t the EU let X do its job?
This is not fair.
This is not human.
Why can’t this just work normally?
