The Dwarfs on X: The Little Helpers of Scammers – or Just Annoying Parasites?

And then there are these dwarfs on X.
They're not the big, obvious Elon-Father farms with their brand-new accounts and WhatsApp lures. No, these are the small ones lurking in the shadows. Some are pure Telegram dwarfs, whose only goal is to drag normal users over to Telegram as quickly as possible. Others seem like private dwarfs – maybe people just trying to pad their Christmas money by nibbling at the edges of the big scams.
But they all have one thing in common: They retweet like crazy. Retweet, retweet, retweet. Why? Because writing their own stuff is too much effort? Or to appear less suspicious? No idea. The point is: These are accounts you need to watch out for.Question to X (and the community): Are they just trying to steal non-existent traffic? Or is it about spying on users, checking profiles, and then striking targeted?Let's get to the profiles I mean. Here are three current examples – freshly spotted and definitely red-flagged:1. • Bio: "Am honest, kind & Polite... And always treat others with Respect...!!!"

At first glance: An older account, looks established – but on X, that doesn't mean much, as we all know.
Second glance: He reposts harmless user tweets and always adds the same quote text: “Inbox me with your cashapp tag or wallet”.
All my red flags go up! This is classic crypto-scam fishing: The guy is phishing for wallet addresses or CashApp tags to strike later. Creepy how mechanical and identical it always is.Sorry, folks – this isn't harmless. Extreme caution advised! Report, block – next case!

  • Bio: "Hey what’s yup 👋🏻 I chose you as the "GIVEAWAY" , add me as a friend then send me a "PAY ME" message 💵💯"

At first glance: Looks like a private person – young, friendly, with emojis.
Second glance at the bio makes me roll my eyes: This "I've chosen you as the giveaway winner, send me 'PAY ME'" – classic fake giveaway scam!
Copied bio, way too many emojis (supposed to build trust, but they just annoy the hell out of me – too much of a good thing!). New account, which again doesn't bode well. Why are these "giveaways" even allowed? Just to officially get on our nerves? It's pure rip-off with a friendly mask.

  • Bio: "TEXT ME ON TELEGRAM FAST FOR YOUR PRIZE 👇👇" (with link to a Telegram channel)

Here we go: The classic Telegram dwarf!
Brand new, sticking to replies from real users (in this case, even to a friend of mine – bad mistake, buddy, now you're stuck in my blog!). Bio stolen from dozens of other scam accounts.
And the best part: This one even has blue checkmarks (probably the cheap verification ones). Is this what the DSA means? They're clearly visible in the pics!Report, block – that's all it takes here.
Conclusion:
I firmly believe that the X team will eventually clean house properly and delete these fakes systematically. I trust Elon Musk and his team on that – after all, X has the best overview here.
With the other platforms (Telegram, WhatsApp & Co.), I have my doubts... They're often the endpoint of the scams.Stay vigilant, people! Retweeting is fine – but not when it's just to lure you into the trap.
