Mamamia – X Is Fighting Bots While Real Scams Thrive on Telegram

Yes, Mamamia – X handled it pretty well yesterday!

There was another small bot attack on the platform. One of those accounts that kept sharing my posts (probably to build fake credibility) got reported by me a bit too quickly. But I managed to save the profile from my blog list just in time for documentation.

Take a look at the profile: Empty and meaningless as always – no bio, no original posts, just retweets. That’s exactly how bots, fakes, and scammers operate!

X reacted and at least temporarily suspended the account. (Temporary is like being “a little bit pregnant” – either something happens or it’s just a puff of smoke.)
But hey: At least X is actively working on the bot problem!

And as if one wasn’t enough, another one showed up right after. This time I managed to grab a screenshot beforehand.

Another notification? Again only retweets – because writing original content is a rare talent for these guys? And then that link in the profile: Something like “x.comelonmouth=/” followed by garbage. Pure mockery, right?

I’m starting to really believe that X is seriously fighting bots and scams. They delete suspicious accounts quickly and protect regular users like me.

But where’s the justice? The EU and DSA keep hitting X with fines – among other things for the blue checkmarks – and create a huge fuss. Meanwhile, they seem to hinder the ones actually doing the work.

The real crimes? They happen on Telegram and WhatsApp! That’s where users get lured into private chats, baited with giveaways, and properly scammed.

Plenty of these Elon fakes have begged me for money – and yes, I have the proof! All chat logs are saved.

By the way: The nude spam and other garbage I recently reported on Facebook is still online. No feedback, nothing. I even reported it via DSA – crickets!

And now X is supposed to take the fall for everyone?

I want to expressly thank X: Thank you for trying to protect normal users like me by quickly removing bots and scammers.

Keep it up – the community needs it!
