Since January 2025, these fake Elon Musk profiles have been barging into my X profile like they own the place—uninvited, of course. I’ve tallied up 173+ of these imposters trying to “connect” with me, and that’s not even counting the 30+ I’ve already banished to my blocklist. Add in the hordes I’ve reported, and we’re easily pushing past 400+ of these clowns. A quick search today (August 2025) reveals gems like @ElonMuskPD (a parody with over 2.5 million followers), @ElonMuskADO (another “fan” with 400k+ followers), and a slew of “Not Elon Musk” accounts like @ElonMuskPDA and @ElonMuskAOC, all verified with that blue checkmark that apparently means zilch. And don’t get me started on @BoredElonMusk or @The_COEM—seriously, X, how many “Elon” knockoffs do you need before you pull the plug?

It’s turned into a full-blown witch hunt, but hey, with my friends by my side, we’re turning this blog into a fortress. We’re protecting our wallets and sanity from these scammers who think they can charm their way into our lives. No more!

A Classic Example: The Snarky Fake Elon

Take March 6, 2025, for instance: Yet another profile, @Real_Elon39374, decided to follow me. I laid down the law immediately: “Why are you following me? Look at my profile! How much clearer do I need to be? I know you’re not real—just an AI or some data-hungry creep after my bank details. I’ve got enough problems; I’m the wrong target for your games!” I even pointed out I wouldn’t follow back because their “profile pic” was faker than a three-dollar bill.

Their brilliant response? “Okay, have a nice day if you don’t believe me.” Oh, how original! Is this the new tactic—getting all snarky because I’m not falling for their BS from the get-go? I just want a clean profile, free of these Fake Elons. So, reported, blocked, and onto the next. It wasn’t the first, and—spoiler—it won’t be the last.

Why don’t these idiots read my profile before hitting follow? It screams “Stay away!” And let’s be real: The actual Elon Musk has galaxies to conquer; he’s not wasting time chatting with a regular German woman like me, especially since my English is still a work in progress.
