The Gift Card Preacher: A Fake Elon Musk Exploited My Pain – X, Act Now!

Hello and welcome to another fake Elon Musk story – this one hit me at my lowest. On February 23, 2025, @elonmusk20091 contacted me on X, starting with the usual: „Thanks for being a fan of mine, how is the weather over there?“ (12:02). I told him I was recovering from an „incident“ – I’d just been out of the hospital for 5 days, and the doctors forbade me to work (12:04). Did he care? No. He asked about my „occupation job“ (12:02) and sent me to Telegram, as they always do (12:09). I made it clear: „I am not buying Bitcoin, Tesla, or a membership card. Many others have already tried“ (12:06). No success – he didn’t listen.

On Telegram, it got worse. I call him The Gift Card Preacher because he pushed me to buy a 100 € gift card – first Walmart, then Apple – to „invest“ on his platform, promising 1800 € profit in 2 days (March 6, 2025, 15:09). It’s laughable: he asked if I knew where a Walmart was (14:59), but Walmart hasn’t existed in Germany since 2006! I told him, „We don’t have that in Germany anymore“ (15:00), so he switched to „go to the supermarket“ for an Apple gift card (20:37). Another ridiculous lie – Apple cards aren’t even a valid payment method for such „investments“ in Germany, as I confirmed online and with my niece in the States (15:59-16:00). I told him I had no money – my accounts were either overdrawn or empty (14:58). He didn’t care. „Go to the supermarket,“ he insisted (15:03), ignoring that I couldn’t even access my accounts (15:04). I asked, „Why does nobody read what I write on the internet?“ (15:12). He called me „stubborn“ (15:15) and claimed he was helping me recover my lost money – money I’d lost to other scams.

What made this fake Elon Musk worse was his fake Christian act. While I was in the hospital, fighting fever, surgeries, and pain – feeling like a „monster“ (March 11, 2025, 12:00) – he kept saying things like „Pray to God“ (March 15, 2025, 18:30) and „God will protect you“ (March 22, 2025, 11:28). I’d lost my faith („I don’t know what to believe anymore,“ March 15, 2025, 19:02), and he used that against me. On March 6, I was so desperate I wrote, „Maybe I’ll stop taking the pills so it’s over faster… or take them all at once“ (15:21). He didn’t care – just kept pushing for the gift card.

This fake Elon Musk preyed on my pain, ignored my boundaries, and used fake faith to manipulate me – all while making absurd demands about Walmart and Apple cards that don’t even work here. Mia and I have reported these scammers to the German and American police, but nothing changes. X, when will you act?
