💥Ali Elon and the 140 Musk: A Scam in the Name of Elon Musk💥
Dear Readers,
I’m still speechless. 😱Today, I received a message supposedly from Elon Musk. The account "
@CEOtesla6785
" wrote that I was "exclusively selected" to join the "Tesla family" – with a hefty budget of $12,000 per month for two years and a Tesla vehicle of my choice. Sounds like a dream, right?
But hold on. I’m in Germany and currently in a difficult situation – and then I get a message like this! Why would Elon Musk reach out to me of all people? And why from such a strange account? It reeks of a scam – and that’s exactly what it is.
Interestingly: Right before I got the message, I had interacted with another account on X. Be careful who you like or follow – it might attract scammers!
Unfortunately, messages like this are not uncommon. Scammers use Elon Musk’s name to deceive people like us. They lure with false promises just to steal our data or spread malware. I’ve done some research for you, and here are my tips to stay safe:
- Check the sender: Real celebrities have verified accounts. "
- @CEOtesla6785
- "? Not likely.
- Be skeptical: $12,000 a month and a free Tesla? That screams fake.
- Don’t share personal info: Real giveaways don’t ask for your details upfront.
I’m glad I didn’t fall for it, but these schemes make me angry. Let’s stay vigilant together and warn others! Have you received similar messages? Share in the comments.
Stay safe,
Your, Whistleblower
